Terms of use.

The rules for using feasibility.tech. Short version: read the site, use the free tools, send us a brief — all good. Don't scrape the site at high volume, don't impersonate us, and don't sue us if the mortgage calculator is off by a dollar. If you become a paying customer of one of our products, that product has its own terms which take over.

About this page — These are the terms for the public marketing website feasibility.tech. Each of our products (RaaS, Realtor Suite, Jurisnova) has a separate Master Services Agreement / Subscription Agreement which is presented at sign-up time and supersedes these terms for the product itself.

1. Who's offering this site

The feasibility.tech website is operated by Feasibility Inc., an Ontario corporation with its registered office in Toronto, Canada. "We", "us", "our", "Feasibility" all mean the same company.

2. By using the site, you agree

By accessing or using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. We can update these terms; the version posted here is the version in force.

3. What you can use the site for

3.1 Allowed

  • Reading the site, sharing links, and quoting reasonably-sized excerpts with attribution.
  • Using the free Canadian tools (mortgage calculator, child support, GST/HST, realtor commission) for your own informational purposes.
  • Submitting our contact form, applying to a job opening, asking us questions.

3.2 Not allowed

  • Scraping the site at volume (more than a few requests per second sustained), or running automated tools against it that bypass Cloudflare's rate-limiting.
  • Republishing or selling the content as if it were your own.
  • Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or attacking the site or its services to bypass security.
  • Anything illegal, fraudulent, or that you wouldn't be comfortable explaining to a Canadian court.

4. The free tools are illustrative, not advice

The calculators (mortgage, child support, GST/HST, realtor commission) implement Canadian-government and provincial formulas as best we can, and we try to keep them current. They are illustrations only. They are not financial, tax, legal, or family-law advice. Don't sign a mortgage or settle a support agreement based on what one of our calculators outputs — talk to a mortgage professional, a tax accountant, or a family lawyer (depending on which decision you're making).

We disclaim liability for any decision you make based on a calculator result. We also reserve the right to fix bugs, update rates, and change how the calculators work over time without giving advance notice.

5. The blog posts are opinions, not professional advice

Same idea. Posts on this site are written by engineers describing what we observe in the industry; they aren't legal, financial, or compliance advice. For specific decisions, talk to a professional in that field.

6. Intellectual property

The site's content (text, design, code, images, JSON-LD markup, etc.) is owned by Feasibility Inc. or used with permission. You can link to us, quote us reasonably, and share screenshots — but you can't lift wholesale sections of the site, our logo, or our trademarks for your own materials without written permission.

The free tools' source code is generally hand-written for this site and not open-sourced; the underlying formulas (CMHC mortgage math, federal child support tables, etc.) are public domain, and you can use those independently.

7. Trademarks

"Feasibility Inc.", "Feasibility", "RaaS", "Realtor Suite", "Jurisnova", and the brackets+F logo are trademarks of Feasibility Inc. Other trademarks appearing on the site (e.g. Azure, AWS, Cloudflare, Microsoft, Google, RECO, TRESA, LSO) are the property of their respective owners and are used here for descriptive and interoperability purposes only.

8. Third-party links

The site links to third-party sites and services (LinkedIn, GitHub, Cloudflare, FormSubmit, regulatory bodies, vendor docs, etc.). Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies; we have no control over them and are not responsible for their content or practices.

9. No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy. We do our best, but HTML rots, browsers change, calculators have bugs, and the law moves faster than this page.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Feasibility Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, in connection with your use of the site. Our total aggregate liability for any direct loss arising out of your use of the site is limited to CAD $100.

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain liability disclaimers; in those, our liability is limited to the maximum extent the law allows.

11. Indemnity

If you use the site in violation of these terms and that causes a third party to bring a claim against us, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from that claim — including reasonable legal fees.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Any dispute will be brought in the courts of Ontario, and you and we consent to that jurisdiction.

13. If something here conflicts with a signed agreement

If you have a separately-signed Master Services Agreement, NDA, or product subscription with us, that signed agreement wins over these terms for anything it covers. These terms cover the marketing site only.
